Understanding Essential Oil Quality

Not all essential oils are produced or tested in the same way. Plant species, growing conditions, harvesting practices, extraction methods, and purity testing can all influence the quality and chemical composition of an essential oil.

doTERRA uses its proprietary Certified Pure Tested Grade (CPTG) process to evaluate the identity, chemical composition, and purity of its essential oils. CPTG is doTERRA's own testing designation rather than an independent industry-wide certification.

At God's Provisions for Health, we believe understanding how essential oils are produced and evaluated is an important part of making informed choices.
